Antonio Stradivari (violin) Rouse-Boughton – 1698 ca.

The ‘Rouse-Boughton’ is a well-preserved example of the violins crafted by Stradivari around the end of the 17th century. That period saw the Cremonese master experimenting with new shapes and patterns with an eye to improving both the tonal qualities and the design of his instruments.
