Antonio Stradivari (violin) Baron Wittgenstein – 1716

This instrument from Stradivari’s ‘Golden Period’ is named after Baron Karl Wittgenstein (1847–1913), a German-born engineer, industrialist and patron of the fine arts, who lived several years in Vienna, Austria, and generously contributed to the development of the city and its art.
